Roswell Spring Blast races
The Spring Blast event on March 6, 2027 features three road races held on the Eastern New Mexico University Roswell campus and around the Roswell Air Center in Roswell, New Mexico. All three races share the same start and finish points and follow out and back courses on paved roads.
Course details include a flat profile at an elevation of 3,671 feet and visible course markings. Runners and walkers may use the same routes. Aid stations are placed at approximately two mile intervals and EMS will be present along the course. The course remains open for four hours.
Distances offered:
- 3.11 miles (5K)
- 6.21 miles (10K)
- 13.1 miles (Half marathon)
Logistics note that there is easy access and plentiful free parking at the venue. Typical local temperatures in early March range from the mid-thirties to the low seventies. Net proceeds from the races are donated to the ENMU Roswell Foundation for student scholarships. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
