Rosslare 10K and 5K
The Kelly's Resort Hotel & Spa Rosslare 10K and 5K is an annual road race held on Easter Monday in the coastal location of Rosslare Strand, County Wexford. Organized by the Wexford Triathlon Club, the event features two distinct distance options:
- 10 km
- 5 km
The event utilizes a fast course design that consists of either a one-loop or two-loop route depending on the chosen distance. All participants are chip timed to ensure accurate results, and the course is fully marshalled for safety. Due to insurance requirements, race participation is restricted to individuals aged 18 and over.
Registration and number collection take place at a dedicated tent in the Rosslare Strand car park. All entrants receive a commemorative event t-shirt as part of their registration. Following the completion of the race, refreshments are provided for all participants. The event includes a prize purse for winning athletes and various category prizes. While the event maintains a competitive element for those seeking personal best times, it is also open to those who prefer to jog or walk the course.
