Trail Running at Røsnæs
The Røsnæs Trail is an event held in Kalundborg that takes participants through the nature of Røsnæs, an area recognized in the Danish Nature Canon. The course features various terrains including singletrack trails near the coast and small wooded sections. Participants pass through several notable landmarks, such as Dyrehøj Vingaard, which is Denmark's largest vineyard.
The event offers several distances to accommodate different preferences:
- 32 km trail run
- 12 km trail run
- 12 km walk
- 2 km children's trail
Participants receive professional timekeeping and access to aid stations stocked with water, energy products, and fruit. Every finisher is awarded a medal and a digital diploma. Prizes are also presented to the top three male and female finishers in the 12 km and 32 km running categories.
The event is part of the Trail Fox Series and is based at Røsnæs Naturrum. Registration remains open until the day of the event, though total participant numbers are limited for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
