Rosebush Independence Day 5K
The Rosebush Independence Day 5K is a community running event held in Rosebush, Michigan on July 4, 2026 at 4145 N. Mission Rd. The event is limited to 120 participants and has a registration fee of $25. Registration opens April 6, 2026 and closes June 1, 2026; day of registration is possible online via phone or computer. There is no in-person registration desk for walk-up signups.
The course uses sidewalks and road edges; participants are asked to run facing traffic when on streets. Packet pickup and check-in take place at the race start and finish area on race day and will include a race bib with an electronic timing chip, safety pins, and event items. Runners must wear the bib on the front of the shirt and should not tamper with or remove the chip if they want a timed result.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and may purchase a tri-blend or tech shirt if registered early. Bottled water will be available at the finish and porta johns will be on site. There are no fluid stations on the course, so participants should carry water for the route as needed. The event is stroller and pet friendly; dogs must remain on a six foot leash. Ample parking is available at Rosebush park. Results are posted live online and are final only after all participants finish. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
