Rose City Mile
The Rose City Mile is the 9th annual track event presented by Rose City Track Club on June 13, 2026, at Franklin High School, 5405 SE Woodward St, Portland, OR 97206. The meet includes races for children, an open mile, and a mixed relay on a track.

- 1 Mile
- 1600 m
The Rosebud Kids' Race splits short distances by age: ages 2 to 4 run 100 m and ages 5 to 7 run 400 m. Chaperones are allowed to participate in the kids race without charge. The open mile is a single mile race. The mixed 4 x 400 m relay is a team event with no gender restrictions; teams must sign up as a unit. Relay entries require a final list of four names, a team name for results, and an estimated finish time at check in. All four relay members must sign or present signed waivers. The relay entry is described as included with mile registration and the organizer notes that no refunds will be given for incomplete teams.
Registration opens June 22, 2025. Online registration is noted to close at midnight on June 11, 2026. Same day registration is available for a fee of $38.50 including a $3.50 processing fee and closes 50 minutes before the first heat in each section. Awards are presented in men, women, and non binary categories; selecting Non Binary or Prefer Not to Say during sign up makes a participant eligible for the non binary category.
