Roscommon Harriers 10 Mile Road Race
The Roscommon Harriers 10 Mile Road Race returns for its 11th annual edition on June 27th, 2026. This event is held on the outskirts of Roscommon Town and is organized by Roscommon Harriers A.C. in conjunction with Pop Up Races. The race is a featured part of the Peugeot Race Series.
The course is designed as a fast and flat scenic route, making it suitable for participants aiming for personal best times or those transitioning to the 10 mile distance. Due to the timing and terrain, the event is also utilized by many as a preparation run for autumn marathons. The race is AAI approved and utilizes chip timing to ensure accurate results for all participants.
Participants start and finish at Hannon’s Hotel on Athlone Road, which serves as the race headquarters. Local road closures are implemented for the event, and parking is available on-site. Entries include a medal for every finisher, with an optional technical T-shirt available during registration. There are multiple prize categories covering various age groups, individual runners, and club teams.
