Rosaryville Half Marathon, 10K, 5K Trail Run
The event takes place at Rosaryville State Park in Upper Marlboro, MD on March 28, 2026. It offers in-person and virtual options and stages races on park trails that pass through mixed hardwood forests and open fields.
Course surfaces are described as twisty, relatively smooth, relatively flat and fast. The half marathon course combines a 9 mile perimeter trail, a 2 mile interior trail, and wide open horse trails. The 10K course includes about 5 miles of the perimeter trail plus just over one mile of wide open horse trails. The 5K uses part of the perimeter trail and equestrian trails. Approximate course lengths and elevation gains are provided: half marathon about 13.5 miles with roughly 1,000 feet elevation gain; 10K about 6.7 miles with roughly 500 feet gain; 5K about 3.6 miles with roughly 250 feet gain.
Aid station support is specified: nine aid stations on the half marathon course, four on the 10K course, and two on the 5K course. All aid stations supply cups, water and Gatorade; one half marathon aid station also offers snacks.
The event lists several race rules and participant restrictions including no in-ear headphones, no pets or pacers on course, no baby strollers, and a requirement to stay on designated trails.
