Rollin Into the Night 6 Hour Trail Run
Rollin Into the Night is the third annual six hour trail run hosted by the Red Dirt Runners in Louisville, Georgia. The timed event takes place on a roughly 2 mile single-track loop with technical, twisting wooden trail, creek beds, and short, punchy climbs. Each lap yields about 250 feet of elevation gain.
The event is free to enter; donations to help offset costs are appreciated and applied to event operations. A single aid station will be available on course, and there is space for runners to set up personal tables or gear. Personal lighting such as a headlamp or waist light is required. Trekking poles are allowed but optional. Pets and strollers are not permitted on the course.
The evening atmosphere emphasizes gathering and spectating around a fire pit, with family friendly provisions. All participants receive a custom bib, a participation wooden medal, and event stickers while supplies last. The event is presented as a local tradition by the host group and centers on night trail running on the described loop. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
