Southern Chicken Fried
Southern Chicken Fried is the second annual family friendly trail event held in Louisville, Georgia. The event offers multiple distance options on a looped single track course near 1185 GA-296.
Distances:
- 50K - Extra Crispy (ultra)
- 25K - Lightly Battered (trail race)
- 10K - Nugget Run (private, sponsor required)
The course is a 2 mile single track trail loop with trees, creek beds, and climbs. Each loop has approximately 250 feet of elevation gain. The route follows the same course used for Rollin into the Night.
There is a 12 hour overall cutoff. One aid station will be available and there is room for participants to set up their own tables. Aid station food donations are appreciated.
There is no registration fee; donations to help offset event costs are welcome. Participants receive a custom bib and a participation wooden medallion. Check-in and bib pick-up occur on the morning of the event. Pets and strollers are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
