The Wiener Run - Dallas
The Wiener Run takes place at Bachman Lake Park in Dallas, Texas. The event includes in-person and virtual race options, on-course aid stations, post-race food service, and on-site awards presentations. Packet pickup is available on race morning and shirts are guaranteed if requested at least ten days before race day. The course surface includes pavement, crushed granite, and grass paths. The event will proceed rain or shine and occurs in a public park where other park users may be present.
Race amenities include race shirts, finisher medals, a hot dog and beverage served at the finish for registered runners, on-course aid stations, and music with name announcements near the finish. The 5K and 10K are chip-timed and have overall and masters awards plus standard age-group awards. Specific award items listed include a Bigfoot Trophy for 1st overall men and women and recognition pins for 1st masters (40+).
Volunteer options are available, including roles with a chip-timed 5K bib after volunteering and non-running volunteer roles. Volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP race access, and a choice of a future race entry or a $20 Amazon gift card. A virtual race option of 13.1 miles is offered for remote participation.
