The Rocky Run takes place in the heart of Philadelphia, drawing approximately 30,000 participants to celebrate the spirit of the iconic film series. This event offers multiple distances and challenges for runners to choose from, with the primary courses centered around the city's landmarks.

The 13.1 Italian Stallion Challenge is a unique half marathon experience that requires runners to complete both the 5K and the 10 Mile distances on the same day. Those who complete this challenge receive three finisher medals.
A notable feature of the 10 Mile course is the Mount Drago challenge. This section includes a timed ascent on a significant hill where timing mats track progress from the base to the summit. The fastest 100 male and female finishers of this specific segment earn an additional commemorative medal.
The event provides all participants with a finisher shirt and a medal specific to their completed distance. Additionally, there is a charitable component involving the Special Olympics; runners who meet specific fundraising targets can receive entry to the event.
