- 50K

- 4 Miler
Participation is limited to 120 entrants combined. Packet pick-up is available on the Friday before the race and on race morning before the mandatory pre-race briefing. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race and to finishers, including canine finisher awards in the longer races. No race day entries are allowed.
Course and logistics
The course is made of four interconnected loop trails: Horsethief Canyon, Prairie Trail, Alum Creek, and Big Bluff. The Rockin'K loop is the marathon loop; 21 Miler runners do not run the Big Bluff loop. 50K runners complete the Big Bluff loop twice. The 4 Mile course runs from the Corral shelter to Horsethief Canyon and back.
Course markings use pink ribbons out to the manned Gate #6 aid station and around the Big Bluff loop, and orange ribbons back to the finish. There are about ten gates per loop; some gates must be opened and closed. There are at least two manned aid stations (approximately 13 and 18 miles) and additional unmanned water points weather permitting. There is a 12-hour time limit for most races and a 3-hour limit for the 4 Mile. Crews can access Gate #6 only by foot from the nearby road; pacers are not allowed. Dogs are permitted on leash, one dog per runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
