4th Annual Rockin' Around Olde Towne 5K
The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) held in Olde Towne on Cousin St in Slidell, LA on Saturday, December 5, 2026. The route covers local streets in the Olde Towne area and concludes with on-site food, drinks and music provided by neighborhood sponsors.
Packet pickup is offered the week of the race, with a session on Friday, December 4 at 2260 Carey St STE4, Slidell, LA 70458 from 2:30pm to 6pm. Race morning bib pickup is available if needed. Participants who register before November 23 will receive a custom race T-shirt, and all registered finishers will receive a custom finisher medal. Refunds will not be offered for this event.
Online entry is listed at $30, with online registration closing on December 4 at midnight or when the field reaches 500 participants. Race day registration is available only if the event is not sold out and is payable by credit or debit card.
Awards include plaques for top male and female in standard age divisions and a prize for the largest registered group. There is street parking available around Olde Towne, with areas near Griffith Park and the Slidell Auditorium noted as centrally located; participants are asked to lock vehicles and avoid blocking service, retail, or residential access.
