Event overview
The 3rd Annual Rockin' Around Olde Towne 5K is set for December 6, 2025 in Olde Towne Slidell, Louisiana. The course is 3.1 miles and starts at the corner of Cousin and 1st Street, runs through the streets of Olde Towne, and finishes on Cousin Street. A course map is provided by the organizer. After the race there will be food, drinks and music supplied by neighborhood sponsors.
Registration, logistics and awards
The event is organized by Olde Town Running Co. Registration is capped at 500 participants; race day registration will be available only if the event is not sold out. Refunds will not be offered. The listed entry fee is $40.00 and online registration closes on December 6 or when the race reaches capacity. Participants who register before November 24 will receive a custom race T-shirt; all registered finishers will receive a custom finisher medal. Packet pickup is scheduled before the race and an awards ceremony will follow. Awards are given to top male and female finishers in standard age groups (<18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+) and a prize is planned for the largest registered group. Street parking is available around Olde Towne; Griffith Park and the Slidell Auditorium are noted as centrally located with street parking nearby. The event will proceed in rain or shine and will be canceled or delayed only for extreme conditions such as lightning.
