The fourth annual Rockin' Around Olde Towne 5K takes place in Olde Towne, Slidell, Louisiana, on December 5, 2026. The event is a 5K road run (approximately 3.1 miles) along streets in the Olde Towne area and is organized by Olde Town Running Co.
The event is scheduled to proceed rain or shine and will be canceled or delayed only for extreme conditions that include lightning. Organizers will update participants about changing conditions by email and through the event's Facebook page.
Registration details include an online entry option that closes on December 4 at midnight or when the race reaches 500 participants. Online entry is listed at $30.00; registration pages also show a price of $34.19 where mandatory charges and fees are included. Race day registration is available only if the event is not sold out and is payable by credit or debit card. Refunds are not offered.
Participants who register before November 23 receive a custom race T-shirt. All registered finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Packet pickup is available the week of the race, including a pickup opportunity on Friday, December 4 from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm at 2260 Carey St STE4, Slidell, LA 70458; T-shirts and race packets will not be available after the event. Bib pickup on race morning is available for those who cannot attend packet pickup.
Awards are given to top male and female finishers across multiple age groups and a prize is offered to the largest registered group. Street parking is available around Olde Towne, with Griffith Park and the Slidell Auditorium noted as centrally located parking areas.
