The Rock The Parkway events take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Kansas City, MO, with the venue at 9400 Ward Parkway. The event program includes the following:

The half marathon and 5K start and finish in front of the Burns & McDonnell world headquarters. The 5K begins after half marathon participants have left the starting area.
Course, services and awards
The course runs along Ward Parkway through tree-lined boulevards, urban parks, and areas with distinctive architecture and fountains. Terrain is described as fairly flat with some undulation and a 1.5 mile downhill to the finish. Water and Gatorade stations will be placed approximately every 1.5 to 2 miles, with Gu or similar products at one or two later stations. Finishers receive medals and tech shirts; age group and overall awards are given in more than a dozen age categories. Live music is planned along the course.
