Rock, Paper, Run 5K : North Little Rock
The Rock, Paper, Run 5K Run/Walk takes place in North Little Rock at 420 Main Street (Argenta Library). The event program lists two entries: the Rock, Paper, Run 5K and a Spirit Runner option (not participating day of). The course is described as a fun run/walk that uses mostly sidewalks and routes through downtown and the riverfront area.
The route begins at Argenta Library, follows 5th Street and Broadway, continues across the Broadway pedestrian bridge, then follows the Riverfront Park Trail and the Clinton Bridge before returning via Riverfront Drive, Poplar, 4th Street and an alley back to the library. Packet pickup and t-shirt details are to be announced.
Race timing will be provided with an RFID chip system. Chips will be attached to shoes or pinned at the hip; tags should hang freely from shoelaces or be pinned on each hip if shoes are not untied. Participants are asked to return shoe tags to collection tubs near the finish.
Awards are planned for top finishers by age group and for top male and female racers. All participants will receive a custom medal. The event offers a team discount for groups of five or more and lists several race guidelines, including no pets on course, no rollerblades or bicycles, visible front-facing bib numbers, and that entries are non-transferable with no refunds.
