Riggs CAT Rock N Run 5K
Riggs CAT Rock N Run 5K is scheduled for June 27, 2026 at the Martin Marietta Hatton Quarry in Cove, Arkansas. The event includes a professionally chip timed 5K and an untimed Family Fun Run. Spectator registration is offered separately.
The course runs along the top side of a working limestone quarry. The quarry will not be operational on race day. The location provides views of the Ouachita National Forest. The event is held rain or shine.
Timing is handled with disposable bib tag chips and results are provided live by Garner Racing. Bibs must be worn on the front of the body and be visible. Early packet pickup is available at THE OUACHITAS coffee bar and tap room on Friday, June 26 at 821 Mena St., Mena, AR 71953.
Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers with amounts of $300 for first place, $150 for second place, and $75 for third place. An awards presentation follows the conclusion of the Family Fun Run.
Registration pricing is listed by period: early bird March 31 to April 30 at $30 per person, regular May 1 to June 26 at $40 per person, day of registration $50 per person, spectator registration $20, and children under five free. Registered participants receive a soft cotton/poly race shirt. Chipped participants receive a custom race bib and finisher medal. Additional post race activities include rock painting, face painting, a raffle, vendor booths, and an off site after party at THE OUACHITAS in Mena.
