Course and logistics
The course follows the River Corridor Trail along the Cossatot River. Trail surfaces include rocky, rooty, grassy, and dirt single-track. Total elevation gain is listed as about 4,000 ft for the marathon and 2,000 ft for the half marathon. Parking and finish are at the park Visitor Center. On race day there is packet pickup at the Visitor Center and a shuttle to the half marathon start at Bushy Creek Recreation Area. The marathon has an 8-hour cutoff. The event does not provide disposable cups, so participants need their own water-carrying system. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
