Event Overview
The Rochester Spring Classic is an annual running event held in Rochester, Minnesota. Organized by the Rochester Running Club, the event features a variety of distances to accommodate different preferences. Participants can choose from the following options:
- Half Marathon

- 1-mile Kids Fun Run
The event is based at Slatterly Park, which serves as both the starting and finishing point for the races.
Course Details
The 5K, 10K, and half-marathon courses consist of out-and-back routes. The paths utilize scenic paved multi-use trails that run alongside the Zumbro River. These trails navigate through and around the downtown Rochester area, providing a natural setting for the competition.
Awards and Recognition
Age group awards are presented to female, male, and non-binary participants in the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K categories. The awards are distributed across several brackets, starting from ages 1-19 and continuing in ten-year increments up to the 80+ category.
Registration and Participation
Registration is open to the public with tiered pricing based on the date of entry. The 1-mile Kids Fun Run is available free of charge. Members of the Rochester Running Club are eligible for specific discounts on race fees. Packet pick-up and registration services are available on the morning of the event at the race site.
