Robin Hood 100

Robin Hood 100 is a fully marked 100 Miles trail ultra based at South Wheatley Village Hall near Retford, Nottinghamshire. The route follows the Chesterfield Canal towpath and forest trails, enters Sherwood Forest and returns to the village hall.

The course loops approximately 30 miles in Sherwood Forest twice and passes Creswell Crags, the Welbeck Estate, Clumber Park and the Thoresby Estate. Navigation on the canal is simple as the towpath follows the water; forest sections are taped and marshalled. The terrain is relatively flat with occasional steady undulations.

Support includes regular, well stocked aid stations, marshalls and first aid medics. Drop bags are available at Aid Station 4 for use at about 51.8 miles and 81.4 miles with the first access at the second lap. Pacers are allowed from around the 50 mile point to the finish, one pacer at a time, and crew support is permitted. Trackers are not used for this event; runner accounting is by aid station recording.

Entries are limited to 150 runners. Online entries close three weeks before the event unless full and there is no entry on the day. The race uses a 30 hours overall cut off and enforces a main non negotiable cut off at Aid Station 3 on the return lap to ensure there is sufficient time to complete the remaining 16 miles. All HOBO Pace events are fully vegan. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
