Roadford Lake Triathlon
Triathlon returns to Roadford Lake in 2026. The event uses the lake for open water swimming. The bike course runs on quiet rolling roads and is regularly used for the National Masters Road Race Championships. The run is traffic free and follows lakeside paths. Lakeside camping is available.
Organisers plan minor adjustments in Year 5 to the run course and the finish area layout. Team Relay categories have been added for both the Standard and Sprint distances.
Participants are offered professional chip timing, medals for finishers and silicone swim hats. The event provides professional first aid and water safety, public liability insurance, fully marked and marshalled courses, and feed stations. The event is British Triathlon registered and permitted.
Location: Roadford Lake, Broadwoodwidger, Lifton, PL16 0RL. Entry prices listed range from £64 to £135. Age minimums vary by race category, with some events open to entrants aged 15 and over and the 70.3 distance open to entrants aged 18 and over on 31/12/2026.
