Event overview
The 10th Annual Road Home Race takes place on September 19, 2026 in Wichita, Kansas at Sedgwick County Park (6501 W 21st St N). The event is a fundraiser for Passageways, an organization that works with homeless veterans to help them secure stable housing. Races start and finish at the Plum Building inside Sedgwick County Park. The event is USATF certified and official timing is provided by the Timer Guys.

Entry options include in-person race entries, sponsor entries for specific races or walkers, and a virtual runner option. Listed entry fees are $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K, $20 for the 1-mile Fun Run, and $25 for the virtual entry. Registration opened on December 1, 2025.
Course maps are available for the 1-mile, 5K and 10K. The event includes patriotic elements such as flags along portions of the route, a Presentation of Colors and the Singing of the National Anthem before the race start. Race bibs include the name of a fallen military hero, currently serving military member, or veteran; registrants may request a specific name for their bib during registration.
