Road Home Race : Wichita, KS
The Road Home Race is an annual fundraiser for Passageways that supports homeless veterans and helps them secure housing. The event includes multiple race options and has been held for ten years; a 10K distance was added in recent years.
All races start and finish at the Plum Building inside Sedgwick County Park. The event is USATF certified and will use chip timing provided by the Timer Guys. Routes and the day schedule will be posted closer to the event.

- 5K run, walk, push, or stroll route
- 1-mile fun run
- Virtual entry available for any distance
- Sponsor-a-runner options allow payment of another participant’s fee
Registration details in the organizer information list registration opening on December 1, 2025 and registration closing on September 19, 2026. Posted registration fees include $35 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K, $20 for the 1-mile, and $25 for virtual entry. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 18 at the Plum Building in Sedgwick County Park.
The event features patriotic elements along the course, including flags lining a portion of the route, a Presentation of Colors, and the Singing of the National Anthem. Race bibs will include the name of a fallen service member, a current service member, or a veteran; participants may provide a name to appear on their bib.
