Road America Walk Run : Plymouth, WI
The Road America Walk Run is a community fundraising event held at Road America Race Track in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The event includes multiple options over the same distance and a separate youth run on the track.
Distances and event formats:
- 4 Mile timed run with chip timing.
- 4 Mile self timed walk.
- 4 Mile virtual walk or run, completed remotely on the honor system by December 1.
- 0.621 Mile Kids Fun Run on the track for participants 13 and under.
Registered participants receive a custom event shirt; registration before October 13 guarantees a shirt. Virtual registrants receive an event shirt, an event bib, online fundraising tools, and eligibility for event contests and prizes. Race packets for virtual participants can be picked up at packet pickup or mailed on request.
Event policies noted in registration details include a prohibition on dogs for safety reasons. Kids and strollers are welcome; young children riding in strollers do not need separate registration. Participants in the timed 4 Mile Run receive chip timed bibs and are eligible for event awards. Money raised supports local programs and cancer research; over 45 years the event has raised more than $5 million, and the stated fundraising goal for the year is $180,000.
