RNLI Llandudno 5K & 1K Fun Run 2026
The RNLI Llandudno 5K and 1K Fun Run take place on 20 September 2026 at RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat Station, Colwyn Road, Llandudno, Conwy LL30 3AA. The event is organised by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
- 5 km race, open to individuals aged 11 and over; 350 entries maximum.
- 1 km fun run open to all ages; 100 entries maximum.
The course is described as fast and flat and starts and finishes on Llandudno Promenade close to the lifeboat station, near the North Shore paddling pools or the Little Orme end of the promenade. The event is chip timed, run under UK Athletics licence, and held on a certified measured course.
Each finisher will receive a medal, a bottle of water and a chocolate bar. Winners in age group categories will receive a bespoke event trophy. Entry fees are listed as £15 for affiliated 5 km runners or £17 for unaffiliated runners, and £5 for the 1 km fun run; UK registered athletes receive a £2 discount. Entries close when each race reaches its capacity.
Race headquarters and race number collection are at RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat Station on the day of the event. Entry fees are normally non refundable; if the RNLI cancels the activity it will, at the entrant's request, endeavour to refund fees via the original payment method or offer an alternative activity with refunds processed within 30 days.
