Riverman/Riverwoman Triathlon
The Riverman/Riverwoman Triathlon is held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Farm Island Recreation Area in Pierre, SD. The event offers both individual and team entries and is open to men, women, and kids of all skill levels. Chip timing is used to record finish times, and lunch is provided for all participants.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top teams. Mandatory equipment includes a bike helmet and a bright swim cap for all athletes. Course maps and a parking and transition map are provided for competitors.
Two course options are offered:
- Sprint Distance: Swim 0.4 miles, Bike 12.4 miles, Run 3.1 miles
- Olympic Distance: Swim 0.8 miles, Bike 23 miles, Run 6.2 miles
