Riverbend Ultras 12 HR/50K
The event is based at the River Pavilion on Picnic Island in Riverbend Park, Jupiter, FL. Races follow a roughly 3.2 mile loop along the Loxahatchee River on gravel trails, including a section of the Lake to Ocean Trail, and pass through oaks and cabbage palms. Wildlife commonly seen includes deer, turkey, turtles, raccoons and many bird species.

Race format and amenities are handled on loop laps. The 12 hour entry requires repeated Riverbend loops; later in the event runners move to the Picnic Island Loop. The 50K is described as two 0.85 mile Picnic Island loops plus nine 3.25 mile Riverbend loops for a total of 31.2 miles. The Fun Run uses the same 5k-ish loop, is not timed and does not qualify for awards; a shirt can be added for an extra fee and participants receive a medal.
Awards include trophies for first place male and female in each distance. All 50K and 12 hour participants receive shirts and medals. The event is run as a self-supported, community-oriented gathering with potluck snacks encouraged and space available for day setups. It operates as a non-profit effort; proceeds beyond overhead benefit the local Florida Trail Association chapter.
