Kingston Half Marathon 2027
The Kingston Half Marathon takes place on 3rd October 2027, starting and finishing in Kingston Market Place, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1JS. The event is organised by River Thames Running.
The course is described as flat and fast with riverside views and runs past Hampton Court Palace. The route uses a mix of traffic-free and on-road sections and is a UKA certified course (Licence ID: 27294).
Event services include full professional first aid cover, marshals along the entire course, sweep marshals to assist runners who do not complete the course, and pacemakers. There are water stations at 4.7 miles, 8.6 miles, 11 miles and at the finish. Course toilets are located at 1 mile, 5 miles and 8.6 miles. Prizes for male and female finishers include shop vouchers of £100, £75 and £50 for first to third, plus free entry to another River Thames Running event.
Race numbers are for collection only and are available from two local shops from 25th September or on race morning. Minimum age is 17 years on the day of the race. Entries are non-transferable and non-deferrable; a full refund is offered only within 14 days of payment, after which there are no refunds, deferrals or transfers.
Participants receive a tech tee, a finisher medal, a goody bag with post race snacks and drink, and free professional race photos. Volunteer roles are available and vary in time. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
