Event Overview
The Kingston Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, 4th October 2026 in Kingston upon Thames, Surrey. It starts and finishes at Kingston Market Place.
Course Details
The course is certified by UK Athletics (Licence ID: 27294). It is described as fast, flat, and picturesque, running past Hampton Court Palace. The route features riverside views and uses a mix of traffic-free and road sections.
Event Support
The event includes pace makers to help runners achieve their goals. The course is fully marshalled and has sweep marshals to assist runners. Professional first aid is in place throughout the course.
There are water stations at the 4.7-mile, 8.6-mile, and 11-mile points, as well as at the finish line. Course toilets are located at miles 1, 5, and 8.6.
Participant Information
Race numbers are for collection only, available from two local sports shops from 25th September, and at the race village on the morning of the event from 7:00 AM. The minimum age requirement is 17 years on the day of the race.
Prizes include Born Bound vouchers for the top three male and female finishers, plus free entry to another River Thames Running event. Race entries are non-transferable and non-deferable.
