Kingston Half Marathon : Kingston upon Thames
The Kingston Half Marathon takes place on 4th October 2026 and starts and finishes in Kingston Market Place, Kingston upon Thames (KT1 1JS). The event is organised by River Thames Running and is held on a measured, licenced course. The programme includes a half marathon and a 10K event.
Course and race services
The course is described as fast and flat with riverside views and a mix of traffic-free and on-road sections. Water stations are located at 4.7 miles, 8.6 miles, 11 miles and at the finish. Course toilets are located at 1 mile, 5 miles and 8.6 miles. The whole route is fully marshalled, with sweep marshals and full professional first aid cover in place.
Entries, fees and rules
Early bird entry (7 Oct 2025 to 31 Jan 2026): club entry £35 + £2.50 fee, non-club entry £37 + £2.50 fee. Standard entry (1 Feb 2026 to 1 Oct 2026): club entry £40 + £2.50 fee, non-club entry £42 + £2.50 fee. Race entries are not transferable and not deferable. A full refund is available only within 14 days of payment; after that there are no refunds, deferrals or transfers.
Additional information
Minimum age is 17 on the day of the race. Race numbers are collection only from 25th September at local shops or on race morning; collection locations include About The Run, 7 Crown Arcade, Kingston (opening times listed) and Sporting Feet, 9 King St, Richmond (opening times listed). Prizes include Born Bound vouchers for top male and female finishers. Free professional race photos, a finisher medal and a souvenir tee are provided.
