The half marathon is an out-and-back course with marked turns. Roads remain open to traffic and water stations on the half route are staffed by volunteers. There are no on-course restrooms for either distance; on-site indoor restrooms and warming areas are available at the venue. The 5K route includes on- and off-road sections with some gravel and mud and may change depending on ground conditions.
The start and finish are at Bend in the River Park, 90 Lincoln Street, Canton, NY. Parking is available at the Canton Pavilion lot and along Lincoln Street. The event runs in-person, all-virtual, and hybrid options. All-virtual participants may run their distance remotely and may submit results for listing; virtual participants receive a shirt and a finisher medallion but are not eligible for placement prizes or the door prize. Hybrid participants log part of the half on their own then finish in person; hybrid entrants receive a chip-timed bib, a shirt, and a finisher medallion but are not eligible for placement prizes.
Awards include placement prizes for 1st–3rd in men, women, and gender non-binary categories for the half marathon, plus age-group awards in ten-year divisions for both distances. The event proceeds rain or shine; a rain date will be announced if hazardous weather is predicted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
