River Lake Days Run
The River Lake Days Run is part of the Richmond River Lake Days celebration and is based at Centennial Park in Richmond, Minnesota. Races start and finish at Centennial Park and route participants through the city, Glacier Lakes Trail, and nearby rural township roads.
Distances offered:
- 10K 10 kilometer course through rural township roads with incline and downhill
- 5K 5 kilometer course through city streets and Glacier Lakes bike and walking trail
- 1K Kids Fun Run one kilometer event for youth; start is approximate and depends on race finish order
The 10K includes a gradual incline between approximately mile 2 and mile 3 and a faster downhill near mile 5. Course distances were confirmed using GPS Map My RUN and a measuring wheel.
Awards include Scheels gift cards for overall 1st place finishers and for the first male and female finishers in the 10K and 5K. Age-category 1st through 3rd place finishers receive medals. Random drawings for additional gift cards use participant numbers and winners must be present at the awards ceremony at the Park Pavilion. All youth fun run participants receive finisher medals and are eligible for the drawings.
Registration includes a race T-shirt guaranteed for registrations before 7/1/2026; afterwards shirts are first come first served. Packet pickup is scheduled at Centennial Park the Friday before the race and on race morning. Parking is available at Centennial Park and on Oakwood Ave NE. Pets and escort participants are not allowed unless prior approval is granted by the race director. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
