River Lake Days Run
River Lake Days Run is a set of community races held in Richmond, Minnesota, with start and finish at Centennial Park. The event includes multiple distances that run through city streets, Glacier Lakes Trail, and nearby rural township roads.
Course details note that the 10K travels rural township roads and includes a gradual incline between about mile 2 and 3, with a faster downhill near mile 5. The 5K winds through the city of Richmond and uses both city roads and the Glacier Lakes Bike and Walking Trail. Course distances were confirmed using GPS and a measuring wheel. The Kids Fun Run is approximately 1K and its start time is dependent on the number of finishers in the other races.
Awards and prizes are presented at a park pavilion. Overall finishers and top male and female finishers in the 10K and 5K receive gift cards. Age category placements receive medals for first through third place. Gift cards are also awarded by random drawing from participant numbers; recipients must be present at the awards ceremony. All youth Fun Run participants receive a finisher medal and are eligible for the gift card drawing.
Registration fee includes a race T-shirt. T-shirts are guaranteed to those registered before 7/1/2025; after that date shirts are distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Additional event notes: event theme is "Richmond is Out of This World" with costume awards possible; no pets allowed without prior approval from the race director. Parking is available at Centennial Park and on Oakwood Ave NE. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
