Rise & Run 5K

The Rise & Run 5K takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in Southern Pines, North Carolina. This is the event's 10th annual occurrence.

The event features two race options:

A 5K Trail Run on a scenic course with natural terrain.
A 1 Mile Kids Run for participants aged 10 and under.

The venue is the National Athletic Village. After the run, there will be live music, food trucks, and a designated kids corner.

All proceeds from the event support the nonprofit organization Friend to Friend, which provides free services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in the community.

Participants who register on or before April 1, 2026, are guaranteed a t-shirt. Registrations after that date will receive a shirt if supplies are available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
