Ripton Ridge Run

39th Annual Ripton Ridge Run

The Ripton Ridge Run is an annual fundraiser organized by Friends of Ripton Students, Inc. Proceeds benefit Ripton students. The event offers in person and virtual options and includes a short, non-competitive kids race.

Event activities take place at the former Ripton Elementary School (Ripton Municipal Building), 753 Lincoln Road, Ripton. Race day packet pickup, race day registration, lunch, a raffle, and awards are held at that location. Courses traverse roads in Ripton and enter the Green Mountain National Forest. Both main courses are primarily gravel, and the 5K course is an out-and-back. The virtual events may be completed at a location of the participant’s choice.

Online registration opens on August 16 and runs into early October. The published entry fees are $40 for adults and $25 for seniors and children 15 and under. The fee includes lunch, raffle entry, and prizes. The first 150 paid entrants receive a long-sleeved t-shirt; entrants who decline a shirt receive a $5 reduction. Prices increase after early October and a credit card transaction charge is added to online registrations. Multiple entries may be completed in a single transaction.
