Rikki-Lynn Warrior Foundation 5K Walk & Run
The Rikki-Lynn Warrior Foundation 5K Walk & Run is an inaugural community event held in Springfield, Ohio. The race serves as a tribute to honor a local life and raise funds for community initiatives, including a scholarship program for student-athletes. This event is open to participants of all ages and is designed for both runners and walkers.
The course begins at Roosevelt Middle School and extends through the Springfield High School grounds, utilizing North High School Place and South Kensington Place. Participants will find water stations located along the race route for hydration. At the finish line, there is a community gathering area featuring a DJ and food trucks.
Registration include the following distances:
- 5k run or walk
Participants receive a race bib, a Warrior bag, and a t-shirt. While t-shirts are guaranteed for those who register by April 19, 2026, later registrants receive them based on available supplies. Packet pickup is available in advance on the Friday before the event at the middle school, with additional check-in options on the morning of the race.
The event takes place rain or shine. Parking for all attendees is available at Springfield High School. Following the conclusion of the race, a brief awards ceremony is held once the final participant has crossed the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
