Ridge Run 2026
The Ridge Run is a Memorial Day event held in the Beverly and Morgan Park neighborhoods of Chicago. Organized by the Beverly Area Planning Association (BAPA), the race takes runners through tree-lined streets and historic areas characterized by classic architecture. All events start and finish at Ridge Park.
Participants can choose from various distances and formats:
- 10K Run
- 5K Run
- 5K Untimed Walk
- 5K + 10K Challenge
- Youth Mile
The event includes a post-race festival for families and participants. The day's activities are organized alongside local holiday traditions, including a Memorial Day ceremony held at the park and a parade that follows the races. The 5K and 10K courses are certified routes (IL19022NM and IL19023NM).
Registration is available online until the week of the event, with on-site registration options and packet pickup scheduled at Ridge Park and a local running store in the days leading up to the race. The event does not offer refunds for registered participants who cannot attend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
