Event Overview
The Ricky 267 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run is an annual event that honors the memory of fallen officers from the Union City Police Department who passed away between 2016 and 2022. It started in 2017. The event is supported by the PBA #8, the FOP, and the Union City Police Department. Proceeds from the event fund a scholarship for a Union City High School senior pursuing a career in law enforcement.

The event takes place at Washington Park, located at the corner of 2nd Street and Palisade Avenue in Union City, New Jersey. It offers two main activities:
- A 5K run/walk.
- A Kids Fun Run.
Race day registration is available. A registration fee of $30 applies for the 5K. A $10 fee for the Kids Fun Run can be paid on race day. A t-shirt is guaranteed for all pre-registered runners.
Awards and Logistics
Prizes are awarded to the overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in the 5K. Kids prizes are also awarded. Results are provided by CompuScore. The event is held rain or shine.
