Rickover Race to Remember
Rickover Race to Remember is a community running event at Rickover Naval Academy in Chicago on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The program includes a main 5K run/walk and a youth dash for children age 10 and under.

Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled on dates prior to the event at Feet Fleet Lincoln Square and at the Rickover Naval Academy back lot; race day packet pickup is also available. Registration options allow participants to join or create teams; team-designated donations are routed to designated charities. Listed beneficiary funds include the Chicago Police Memorial Fund, Ignite the Spirit Foundation, and the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Fund. All race proceeds benefit Rickover Naval Academy.
The event notes that strollers are allowed on course and that dogs are not permitted on campus or the race course. Runners and walkers are directed to use separate halves of the roadway. All children who run in the kids races receive an award. The 5K also offers age-group awards for male and female competitors. The event is presented with an emphasis on community and service and on recognizing firefighters, law enforcement officers, and service members.
