Richmond Park Half Marathon, 14 November 2027
The Richmond Park event takes place at Sheen Gate in Richmond Park, London. The half marathon is run over four laps through woodland, rolling hills and open parkland, with opportunities to see the park’s deer. The route follows trail paths, pavement and grass and has an overall elevation gain of 187 m.
Included with entry are a unique themed medal, free race photos, chip-timed results, post race goodies and a secure bag drop. A central event village provides food, drink and finish-line partner items. Water and sweets are provided on the course at kilometres 2.5, 7.5, 12.5 and 17.5. Race packs are not posted and are collected at registration on the day.
Practical details noted by the organiser include a minimum age of 17 years, no formal cut-off time for the event and the option for buggy runners and wheelchair athletes to take part while remaining mindful of multi-terrain surfaces. Dogs are not permitted on the course but are allowed on a lead in the event village. Parking is limited at Sheen Gate and Roehampton Gate; the nearest rail stations are Richmond, about 30 to 40 minutes on foot, and Mortlake, about 20 minutes on foot.
