Richmond Park Half Marathon
The Richmond Park Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 31 October 2027 at Richmond Park, using Sheen Gate as the event location in London. The half marathon is run over four laps through woodland and over undulating hills, following trail paths, pavement and grass surfaces with a total elevation gain of 187 m.
The event is chip timed and includes a unique themed medal, free race photos, post race goodies and a secure bag drop. Race packs are not posted and must be collected at registration on the day. The course is marked with trail flags and A5 arrows, and marshals are positioned on course to guide runners.
Support and facilities in the event village include food, drink and finish-line partner goodies. Water and sweets are provided at approximately kilometres 2.5, 7.5, 12.5 and 17.5. Minimum age for the half marathon is 17 years.
Accessibility notes state buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome but the multi-terrain surfaces may prove challenging for some wheelchair users. Dogs are not permitted on the course; they are allowed in the event village if kept on a lead.
