Richmond Park Half Marathon
The Richmond Park Half Marathon takes place on 19 September 2027 at Richmond Park, Sheen Gate, London. The main race is a four‑lap Half Marathon that follows trail paths, pavement and grass within the park and passes through woodland, undulating hills and areas with park wildlife. The event village is located next to Sheen Gate and offers food, drinks and finish‑line goodies.
Entries include a themed medal, free race photos, chip timing, post‑race goodies and a bag drop. The route is waymarked with trail flags and A5 arrows and staffed by marshals. Water and sweets are provided on course at around kilometres 2.5, 7.5, 12.5 and 17.5. Portable toilets are available in the event village and are passed on every lap.
Race packs are not posted and must be collected on the day at registration. There is no formal cut‑off time, but runners who expect to take more than three hours should contact the organiser to discuss arrangements. The minimum age for the Half Marathon is 17 years. Buggy runners and wheelchair athletes are welcome but should be mindful of the multi terrain surface. Dogs are not permitted on the course; spectators may bring dogs into the event village and must keep them on a lead.
