The majority of the route runs against the backdrop of the River Thames. The venue is accessible by car and public transport and there is a car park at Old Deer Park opposite the start area. Local organisations and charities provide support during the event.
The event lists Kingston Hospital Charity as its official charity partner in connection with the 70 year NHS celebration and encourages participant support through the registration process. All finishers receive a medal and post race refreshments including water, juices, fruit and a chocolate bar.
Chip timing is used and results are posted as runners cross the finish line. A free baggage drop will be available in a cordoned area; organisers advise against leaving valuables as they cannot be held responsible. Use of headphones is restricted to bone conducting headphones in line with UKA Rule 240 S 5.
Facilities at the start and finish include toilets, an official race photographer on course and a medical team at the start area. A pre race warm up is scheduled around ten minutes before the race start. The event is open to entrants aged 18 and over on 15/02/2026 and the entry fee is £39.00.
