Richmond Autumn Riverside 10k and Half Marathon
The Richmond Autumn Riverside event is set at the riverside by Ham Street in Richmond, TW10 7RS, on 11 October 2026. It offers two distances for runners:
- 10 km
- Half Marathon
The route runs along the riverside between Richmond and Kingston and returns along the towpath. The course is largely flat and is an out-and-back once for the 10 km and twice for the half marathon. Surfaces are a mix of trail and paved paths; trail shoes are recommended. Off-road buggies are permitted but the course is not wheelchair friendly. The course may be altered up to event day if necessary.
Event operations include staggered starts to reduce congestion, chip-on-bib timing with results recorded from the start mat, and marshals positioned on course. A water station is located at approximately 7 km. Race packs are collected at registration on the day. Bag storage is available with limited space. Participants receive a finishers medal and a small number of trophies will be awarded. Finish-line refreshments such as drinks and sweets will be available and timed results are displayed immediately and issued by email after the race.
The event hub is on the grass beside the Ham Street riverside carpark. Parking at Ham Street is limited and visitors are asked not to park at Ham House. Richmond mainline station is about a 20 to 30 minute walk along the riverside. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
