About the race
The 12th TUI Rhodes Marathon is a road running event on Sunday 18 April 2027 in the centre of Rhodes with multiple race options and defined participation rules.
Distances offered:
- Marathon (42.195 km)
- Half marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km road race
- 5 km road race (run and walk)
- 5 km recreational walk
- 600 m schools race for primary school pupils
All races start and finish in central Rhodes and follow mapped circular routes that pass through waterfront avenues, the old town area and main city streets. Entry is by electronic registration; the registration period closes on Wednesday 7 April 2027 and each race has a participant cap (for example marathon 500, half marathon 1,000, 10 km 700, 5 km/walk 2,300, 600 m 1,000). Age limits apply: marathon and half marathon entrants must be 18 or older, 10 km entrants at least 15, 5 km entrants at least 12, and the 600 m race is for pupils born 2015–2018. Minors need a written guardian consent to participate.
Participation packages include a technical t-shirt, race number, electronic timing for most races, finisher medal, refreshment stations and medical support. Time limits apply for each race; results are recorded electronically and provisional results are published in real time with an appeals period. Awards include medals and diplomas for the top three overall men and women and cups for first place in each race; specified cash prizes apply in the marathon and half marathon under performance conditions.
