RexRun for PAWSitivity 2026 Trail Run/Walk
RexRun for PAWSitivity 2026 takes place on 08/29/2026 at the Arapahoe County Fairgrounds in Aurora, Colorado. The event is presented by Back The Blue K-9 Force, a volunteer run nonprofit that supports K-9 safety, training, and health needs. The program features trail running and walking events and activities focused on K-9 teams.

- Family 5K Trail Walk
- Kids 1 mile Run Walk
All registrants receive a commemorative T shirt, a pancake breakfast, a goody bag, and a finishers medal. Packet pick up is available on the day of the event at registration in the Main Hall. Registration fees are listed per event and processing fees apply.
On site programming includes a vendor marketplace, therapy and patrol dog training demonstrations, a dog costume contest, silent and live auctions, and a Kids Zone with inflatables, lawn games, an obstacle course, and a balloon catapult. Food service is provided by the Flippin Flapjacks food truck.
Dog and participant rules are specified: dogs must be on a six foot leash at all times, retractable leashes are not permitted, and owners must clean up after pets. Dogs and strollers are permitted only in the Family 5K Walk and the kids 1 mile run walk. The event is a trail race held rain or shine unless extreme weather makes the course unsafe.
