Resurrection Run : 10th Annual (March 28, 2026)
The Resurrection Run is a community running event held at Lake Forest Park in Henderson, TX. The event combines multiple running options with a community Easter egg hunt hosted by Ebenezer Baptist Church.

The 5K and 10K courses start and finish at Lake Forest Park and run through Henderson neighborhoods and downtown. Participants can expect concrete and asphalt surfaces; the 1K dash remains on park concrete trails. Courses are open to traffic, with local police assisting traffic direction. There will be at least one water/aid station on the route.
Awards for live 5K and 10K participants are age-group awards only; top three male and top three female finishers will be recognized within the listed age divisions (18 and under; 19–29; 30–39; 40–49; 50–59; 60+). Proceeds support Henderson Interchurch Ministry, Rusk County Legacy House, and Rusk-Panola Children's Advocacy Center.
Event logistics note early packet pick-up is planned at Ebenezer Baptist Church (date TBD). Arrival is via Highway 64 with Civic Center parking recommended. Restrooms are on site. Participants are asked to wear their bib on the front outermost layer. Requests for accommodations should be made at least seven days before the event.
