Responders First 5K and Family Fun Walk
Responders First 5K and Family Fun Walk is scheduled for October 31, 2026 in Brooksville, Florida at 11210 Cortez Blvd. The event brings together community members to support first responders, including military, firefighters, EMS, police, and healthcare workers, and features music and a scenic course.

- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (Adult, 16 years and older)
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (Youth, ages 6-15)
- 1 Mile Family Fun Run/Walk (Youth, ages 6 and under)
Registration opens July 1, 2026. Most events close registration August 31, 2026; the youth 6 and under category remains open until October 30, 2026. Fees listed by event are $35.00 for the 5K, $30.00 for the 1 Mile Adult category, $20.00 for the 1 Mile Youth ages 6-15, and no fee for the 1 Mile Youth ages 6 and under.
Awards and extras include a costume contest, custom awards for the top three male and female finishers, and awards for the top male and female in these age groups: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
