Respect Life 5K
The Respect Life 5K is a community run and walk organized by the Knights of Columbus to raise funds for the purchase of an ultrasound machine for a pregnancy crisis center in Colorado as part of the Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Initiative Program.
The course starts and finishes at Light of the World Catholic Church in Littleton, Colorado, and winds through the adjoining neighborhood. Free parking is available on site. Team competition includes two categories: Knights of Columbus teams composed of men from the same council or assembly, and Parish teams composed of members from the same parish, church, family, or religious organization with at least one female. Teams must have a minimum of four members. Team members remain eligible for individual age group awards.
Individual and team awards are distributed after the event. All 5K participants receive a T shirt and are eligible for door prizes. A free breakfast is provided by the Knights of Columbus to participants, supporters, and volunteers. Kids activities are scheduled during and following the 5K.
