Resolution Run : Club Northwest
The Resolution Run is a community 5K run and walk hosted at the Magnuson Park Boat Launch in Seattle with an optional Polar Plunge into Lake Washington. The event includes a finish festival with free chili, hot chocolate, apple cider and coffee, a beer garden for participants age 21 and over, and over 60 divisional prizes. Entries receive a long sleeve shirt with an option for a medal; short sleeve and tech shirt options are also available.

The course is mostly flat with a total elevation gain of 81 feet, a small hill around 1.2 miles, and a surface mix of asphalt and gravel. The Polar Plunge is located just before the finish line; about 60% of participants choose the plunge. Two heated, gender specific changing tents are provided and plunge results are scored separately from the dry 5K.
Registration opens September 1. Fee levels vary by date, with reduced pre event pricing and a day of race rate; the Kids Dash is free while youth shirt or medal options are available for purchase. Packet pickup is available at Super Jock n Jill Green Lake on the days before the event and on the morning of the event.
