Event Overview
The Resolution Relay: B.Y.O.B. Bring Your Own Baton takes place in Boring, Oregon, at the Boring Station Trailhead located at Boring Grange. This event focuses on teams completing a half marathon distance through a series of relay legs. Participants can choose to enter as individuals or form teams of two, three, or four runners.
In the three person relay format, one team member completes two legs of the course while the other two members each complete one leg. The event includes competitive categories for male, female, and mixed relay teams, as well as individual categories for male, female, and non-binary runners.
Participation Details
The event features a costume contest for all registration groups, including individuals and all relay team sizes. Participants who register by December 11, 2026, are guaranteed an event shirt in their preferred size. Registration for the event remains open until the end of December 2026. The available categories are:
- Half Marathon: Individual
- Half Marathon: 2 Person Relay
- Half Marathon: 3 Person Relay
- Half Marathon: 4 Person Relay
The course utilizes several exchange points, including Main City Park, to facilitate transitions between team members. Age requirements vary by event, with relay options open to participants aged 8 to 100, while the individual half marathon is open to those aged 13 to 100.
