Event Overview
The Resolute Backyard Ultra is an official backyard ultra event held on the woodland trails of Delamere Forest in the United Kingdom. Participants follow a specific format where they must complete a 4.167 mile loop every hour, on the hour. The competition continues until only one runner remains to complete a solo loop.
Course Details
The event takes place on a trail route through the forest. Each loop features a total elevation gain of 232 feet. The race is designed as a continuous test of endurance where runners must return to the starting line before the start of the next hour to remain in the competition.
Prizes and Recognition
The final remaining participant receives a cash prize for winning the event. Additionally, sponsors provide prizes for any runners who successfully complete 100 miles or more during the competition.
