13th Annual Represent Yourself 5K Run/Walk
The Represent Yourself 5K Run/Walk is a community fundraising event held at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park in Hapeville, Georgia on September 26, 2026. The event offers both in-person and virtual participation, plus a Kids Fun Run for children 12 and under.
The 5K course is USATF certified (GA18053WC) and is an official qualifying event for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race. Virtual participants may complete a self-chosen 5K route before midnight on race day and submit their time online; a live stream option is available for virtual participants. Virtual registration is a flat rate of $45. In-person registration starts at $35, with higher rates and onsite registration available closer to the event.
The event lists several participant benefits and awards: finisher medals for participants, official race shirts guaranteed for registrations completed by September 1, awards for top individual finishers and teams, and prizes for the largest team and top fundraising team. Medals and shirts for virtual registrants may be mailed after the race if registration occurs late; in-person participants must be present to receive on-site items.
Since 2014 the event’s fundraising has supported scholarships and educational programs, including awarding 110 scholarships, offering ACT/SAT workshops to over 100 students, providing financial education in local schools, and delivering books to children in shelters.
