About the race
The 13th Annual Represent Yourself 5K Run/Walk is organized by the Freemont Foundation and held at Jess Lucas Y-Teen Park, 680 South Central Avenue, Hapeville, Georgia. The event offers an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option, plus a Kids Fun Run for children 12 and under with no entry fee. The course is USATF certified (GA18053WC) and is an official qualifying event for the Northside Hospital Peachtree Road Race. Participants who register by September 1 are guaranteed an official race shirt.
All finishers receive medals; awards are planned for top individual finishers and top teams, and prizes will be given for the largest team and the top fundraising team. Virtual participants receive shirts and medals by mail after the race and cannot convert virtual registration to in-person. Virtual entrants may complete a 5K on their preferred route and submit times online. Fundraising supports Freemont Foundation scholarships and educational programs.
Since 2014 the event’s support has helped award 110 scholarships, provide free ACT and SAT workshops to more than 100 students, bring financial education into local schools, and deliver books to underserved children in shelters.
