About the race

RememberRun 2026 is the 18th annual running event held in Riverside Park, King Street West, Cambridge, Ontario, on November 7, 2026. The event offers two distances:

• 5 km
• 1.1 km fun run

The course is a two-loop route that combines paved road and trail within Riverside Park. The first loop is a 1.1 km paved circuit where runners keep to the left. The 5 km field completes a second 1.1 km loop that includes an out-and-back trail section with gravel, wooden boardwalk, and grass; on that loop runners keep to the right and turn counterclockwise. The 5 km is certified by Athletics Canada and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.

There are two water stations positioned at the start/finish and near the 2.4/3.6 km marks. Every finisher in both distances receives a finisher medal. Participants may purchase a technical t-shirt during registration while supplies last. Stickers are available at kit pickup, one per person on a first-come, first-served basis. Strollers and their passengers are free but must be registered and accompanied by a participant entered in a different sub-event.

The event supports fundraising for The Preston Legion Poppy Fund. Registration fees vary by date and refunds are not available; deferral and transfer options are outlined in the participant waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
