RememberRun 2026
RememberRun is the 18th annual event at Riverside Park in Cambridge, ON on November 7, 2026. The event offers two distances:
- 5 km
- 1.1 km fun run
The certified 5 km route is two loops. The first loop is a paved 1.1 km circuit where runners stay to the left. The 5 km field continues for a second loop that includes an out-and-back trail section; on that loop runners stay to the right and follow a counterclockwise turn. The trail section contains gravel, a wooden boardwalk, and grass. Two water stations are placed on course, at the start/finish/1.1 km and near 2.4/3.6 km.
Pre-race elements include a minute of silence, a live performance of the national anthem, and piping. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and the 5 km is certified by Athletics Canada. Pledges support The Preston Legion Poppy Fund.
Every finisher in both distances receives a finisher medal. Participants may optionally purchase a technical t-shirt during registration while supplies last. Stickers are available at kit pickup on a first come first served basis. Strollers and their passengers are free but must be registered and accompanied by a participant in a different sub-event.
