About the race
The 18th annual RememberRun takes place in Riverside Park, King Street West, Cambridge, Ontario on November 7, 2026. The event offers two distances and combines paved and trail surfaces inside the park.

- 1.1 km fun run
The course is two loops. The first loop is a 1.1 km paved circuit where runners are asked to stay to the left. Runners in the 5 km continue for a second loop that includes an out-and-back trail section with gravel, wooden boardwalk, and grass; on that loop runners stay to the right with a counterclockwise turn before finishing the same way as the first loop. Two water stations are operated on course: one at the start/finish/1.1 km point and one near the 2.4 km / 3.6 km marks.
A moment of silence, a live performance of the national anthem, and piping will precede the race start. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and the 5 km course is certified by Athletics Canada. Pledges benefit The Preston Legion Poppy Fund; the fundraising goal and current progress are listed with the event.
Every finisher receives a medal. Technical t-shirts can be purchased during registration while supplies last, and stickers are available at kit pickup on a first-come basis. Refunds are not available; deferrals and transfers are described in the participant waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
