RememberRun 2026
RememberRun 2026 is the 18th annual event held on November 7, 2026 at Riverside Park in Cambridge, Ontario. The event features two race options:
- 5 KM
- 1.1 KM fun run
The course is a mix of road and trail within Riverside Park and is organized as two loops. The first loop is a 1.1 km paved circuit where runners stay to the left. The 5 KM option continues with a second loop that includes an out and back trail section composed of gravel, wooden boardwalk, and grass; on that loop runners stay to the right and make a counterclockwise turn. The 5 KM course is certified by Athletics Canada and the event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Two water stations are on course, at the start and at approximately 2.4 and 3.6 km. A moment of silence, a live performance of the national anthem, and a piper occur before the race.
Every finisher in the 5 KM and 1.1 KM receives a finisher medal. Participants may purchase a technical t shirt during registration while supplies last, and one sticker is available per person at kit pickup. Pledges support The Preston Legion Poppy Fund; at the time of publication CA$616.09 has been raised toward a CA$5,000 goal.
Strollers and their passengers are free, must be registered, and must be accompanied by a participant entered in a different sub event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
