Remember & Honor Memorial Day 5k and Restorative Yoga
The Remember & Honor Memorial Day 5k and accompanying restorative yoga class take place at Grande Lakes Orlando. The 5k is described as a walk or fun run held on the back nine of the resort's 18 hole championship golf course inspired by Greg Norman. The setting is the resort grounds at 4012 Central Florida Parkway in Orlando.
After the event, participants are offered post run refreshments including champagne or mimosas and an assortment of healthy snack options. The program includes stretching and massage services by therapists using Theragun. Participants receive an exclusive T shirt and medal and a special goodie bag. There is also a raffle with prizes such as a complimentary massage, a facial, a manicure or pedicure, and special gift bags from Spa partners.
The event is open to resort guests and the general public and welcomes all ages. Packet pick up occurs on race morning, and event check in is located on the Valencia Courtyard adjacent to the Spa. Parking is complimentary with valet available at The Ritz Carlton or JW Marriott. Pricing information lists Adults at $75.00 and children 12 and under at $50.00.
